Essential Functions:
· Assist licensed land surveyors with field data collection and site measurements.
· Set up, operate, and maintain surveying equipment (GPS units, total stations, levels, data collectors).
· Measure distances, angles, elevations, and boundaries accurately.
· Mark property corners, stakes, and reference points according to project plans.
· Record field notes and ensure accurate documentation of measurements.
· Load and unload equipment and maintain survey vehicles and tools.
· Perform basic calculations related to land measurements and elevations.
· Support boundary, topographic, construction, and surveys.
· Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and state regulations.
· Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, engineers, and property owners.
· Assist with drafting or data transfer to office staff when needed.
· Work outdoors in varied weather and terrain conditions.
Skills, Experience and Education:
· Surveying certification or equivalent (preferred).
