About Us: Arrow Concrete and Asphalt Specialties has been in business for over 36 years. We specialize in paving and asphalt maintenance. We provide services such as paving, grade work, chip sealing, asphalt patching, crack filling, sealcoating, fog sealing, parking lot striping, post/signage installation, bollards, wheel stops, and sweeping in Washington and Northern Idaho. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced team environment where we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service and products.

We are expanding our operations and are looking for skilled individuals to join our team.

Position Overview:
As a CDL Truck Driver, you will operate trucks equipped with dump bodies to haul equipment (pavers, rollers, etc.) and materials (sand, gravel, crushed rock, asphalt, etc.) to various job sites. Must maintain and perform all tasks in accordance with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness; report maintenance or repair needs.
• Operate the truck safely and efficiently, adhering to applicable laws and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of on-the-job information and customer delivery invoices.
• Complete written reports of any problems or repairs needed, and communicate with maintenance personnel.
• Perform minor field repairs and operator maintenance as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, adhering to safety protocols.
• Keep operator logs, timecards, and other documentation as per company policy and regulations.
• Operate various equipment as needed during loading or unloading.
• Assist team members in production tasks, such as shoveling or equipment operation, as directed.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and adapt to changing conditions on job sites.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Contribute to an inclusive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Two years of general driving experience in a commercial or construction setting is highly desired.
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card are required.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday – (Weekends as needed)
• 45 – 60 hours per week
• 8 – 12-hour days
• Seasonal: April - November
