Position Overview

Inland Infrastructure is seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman to lead field crews on public infrastructure projects throughout Eastern Washington. The Foreman plays a critical role in coordinating daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality. This position serves as a key link between the Superintendent and field crews, helping drive project success on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead crews in the construction of public infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and site development
  • Coordinate daily work activities and ensure crews understand project goals and expectations
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed to support crew productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks) and enforce safe work practices
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to maintain efficient workflow
  • Communicate regularly with the Superintendent regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs
  • Maintain daily logs, timekeeping, and basic project documentation

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in civil construction or public infrastructure projects
  • Previous experience in a leadership role (Foreman or Lead) preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to job site safety and OSHA standards
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions
