Position Overview

Inland Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and results-driven Superintendent to lead field operations on public infrastructure projects throughout Eastern Washington. This role is responsible for overseeing daily job site activities, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep knowledge of civil construction and a commitment to excellence in public works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities for public infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and site development
  • Supervise field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Interpret and execute project plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients
  • Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines
  • Conduct daily site meetings, safety briefings, and progress updates
  • Oversee quality control to ensure work meets or exceeds project specifications
  • Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, or delays in a proactive manner
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on public infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and heavy equipment operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to changing job site conditions
