Seattle Corporate Search is recruiting a Construction Estimator for a confidential construction company supporting industrial and infrastructure projects.
We’re looking for someone who can build a thorough estimate, spot missing scope, and keep the bidding process moving. Water or wastewater treatment project experience is particularly relevant, and candidates from general contracting, civil, heavy civil, or industrial construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
You’ll work from an Everett office and visit project sites as needed.
The Opportunity
• Turn project plans and bid requirements into clear, accurate budgets and proposals.
• Develop estimates at different stages of design, from preliminary information through complete construction documents.
• Calculate material quantities, labor needs, and equipment costs.
• Gather supplier and subcontractor quotes, compare scope, and resolve pricing gaps.
• Work with project teams to review assumptions and finalize submissions.
• Manage changing information and deadlines throughout the bidding process.
• Keep cost information organized and current.
• Attend site walks and communicate with project partners.
Your Background
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with water or wastewater treatment projects.
• General contracting, civil, heavy civil, or industrial construction experience.
• Confidence reading construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Experience preparing takeoffs and carrying estimates through submission.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using estimating software.
• Familiarity with construction costs and accounting fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and deadline management.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
A related degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Process or utility piping experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range is $87,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience.

The role includes bonus payout eligibility beginning in 2028.
